Last night after hearing that her health was taking another turn for the worse, I read through all of Barb's blog entries throughout her courageous battle, and her spirit and determination shined through the whole story. Dave no words can be said, but know that you are loved and people all over the country are praying for you and your sons.

Throughout her long and courageous battle Barbara has been an inspiration and a shinning example of complete faith and trust in the Lord. It is a blessing and an honor to have known her as a friend and Sister in Christ. My prayers now are with David, her special boys, and all the families.

Dave,

I am really really sorry to hear that. There is absolutely nothing I can say other than you are one of the absolute best human beings I know, on many levels (spiritual, work ethic, camping skills). I and our church are praying for you.

I am not sure what to say. How sad!
Thank God for the hope we have in Christ.
Thank God for Barbara's witness and strength.
And, yes... Dave, David, Dawson, and the rest of the family will be in my prayers.
PSALMS 62:1-2,5-8
On the day before my father passed in 2008, I flipped through Psalms and stumbled on this passage. It is a powerful passage about hope and faithfulness of God.

Barbara was hands down the most courageous, inspirational woman I have ever known. And although I am so sad right now, and will pray for you and your boys every day, I know she is at peace... perfect and without pain. I feel blessed to have known her.

David,
I am so very sorry to hear that Barbara has left this world, but at the same time rejoicing that she is in heaven, pain free and meeting those who have gone before. I asked Dave to look out for her and show her the ropes.I truly feel your pain my friend, and I am only a phone call away (302-422-9602).
Love, Jeanne Hardican
