Moments I don't want to forget.
The other night, I wasn't able to do much more than lay in bed but the boys joined me to read some books. Dawson kissed my head (with a mouth full of milk). Of course, I made a big deal about the milk kiss, so then David joined in too. They kept planting these wet kisses on my fuzzy head and we just had a good time. Milk kisses . . . moments I don't want to forget.

Hey Barbara, I hope everything is going well. I was just reading your blog. I'm glad that you've been very positive throught the whole process.
My grandmother has been going through the whole chemo thing and I've seen how draining it can be.
love,
Raleigh
Hi Barbara! So glad to know you have "graduated" from this big hurdle. We continue to pray for you and David and David and Dawson!
I did some fill-in physical therapy work today at a wonderful clinic on Main St. in Newark, DE and reminded myself that I wanted to recommend it to you as you get close to your surgeries. The name of the clinic is Specialty Rehab and the therapist who owns it is Lisa Marshall. Working with women battling breast cancer is her specialty and she is the best. It is a great environment and would be a great place for you to pursue keeping good shoulder range of motion and strength, etc. as you pull thru the surgeries. Lisa often sees her clients pre-operatively to help them know what to expect and how to best prepare, etc. Happy to tell you more about it if you are interested. I highly recommend it. The women I have seen there always express great appreciation for having been told to go there for help in the recovery process. Happy to help you with the set-up process as well when the time comes.
You are handling things so well! May God continue to grant you strength and blessing, healing and peace.
Jill
