We had Dawson's follow-up appointment today regarding his "bump." The diagnosis at this time is still an inflammation. It still may be an atypical mycobacterial infection, but these infections can take up to 6 weeks to show on the culture. At 6 weeks, they will determine if it is an infection. In the meantime, we are going to meet with infectious disease to see about the next step. His incision is healing well and he continues to bounce off the walls (this is normal behavior for him.)
The other good news is that he has been discharged from physical therapy. Today was his last session and even one of the other therapists asked his why he was receiving PT. You should see him on the playground . . . he is now a coordinated, confident climber and will not be outdone by David's climbing!

Good news! Congratulations, Dawson, on your "graduation" from PT. I'm so glad you're keeping up with your big brother.
I will continue to pray that there is no infection and that he will be given a clean bill of health.
YAY!
How did you get the music on your blog??
