10 years later

Today, Dave and I celebrate 10 years together. 10 years ago today we went on our first date. We drove to Rehoboth Beach. That wasn't the original plan. He was supposed to pick me up at my parents' house in Middletown and then we were going to go to Newark for coffee or something. He comes to pick me up and asks me how adventurous I am and if I want to go Rehoboth. I'm thinking, "That is about 2-3 hours, there and back, with this guy in the car. I guess we'll see if we click." Apparently we clicked. One year later, he proposed to me in Rehoboth in a life guard chair, the same place where we had our first kiss on our first date. I'm not sure who was more nervous when he proposed - he asking the question or me trying not to drop the ring in the sand!

What a great history! I've never heard your engagement story...how sweet:) I guess love was in the air 9 years ago today. While you were getting engaged, Kevin and I were getting married.

Love the picture!

It is the year of the big 10. We celebrated our ten year wedding anniversary in July. Michael proposed to me at night on the beach in Rehoboth and we dropped the ring in the sand. Thought we lost it! Love the picture!! God Bless!

Wow! So fun to read your story. I can't believe it's been 10 years! I still remember introducing you guys, and hoping you would get together. I still remember plain as day, meeting you in the Kirkwood Fitness parking lot. It definitely was a God ordained meeting, which led to an even more exciting God ordained meeting- between you and Dave. Congrats again! Loved seeing the pic of you guys- it doesn't feel like it was that long ago!
