Unfortunately, more heavy stuff

When my surgeon was trying to track me down today, I thought that it couldn't be good news. The cancer has returned. I have an appointment with my oncologist on Wednesday afternoon to find out what happens next. I am having difficulty finding out information online. Googling my specific circumstances isn't working that well. We will update the blog as soon as we know more information.

Sue just stopped me at church and shared with me this news. I am SO sorry you had to receive these results, and am having a hard time holding myself together right now. I pray that what they removed was the only cancerous cell and that the doctor will have wisdom... and that you will have peace. May the Lord give you His strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow -- because great is His faithfulness! Love you.

Barbara, please know that you continue to have the love and support of those around you. Just as before, we'll get through this one day at a time, continually in prayer for you, Dave, the boys and the rest of your family. Love you.

My thoughts will be with you and all your family on Wednesday, I cannot imagine the waiting, or what thoughts you must have running through your head. Be faithful.

OH my goodness...Barb, I can't even believe what I just read. I am in shock, so I can't imagine what you are feeling. I wish there was something -- anything --we could do for you. However, I know your amazing faith will continue to inspire those around you. Know that you are in our thoughts and our prayers as well!
